iBANKER Screening
About two years
ago I had the opportunity to play a part in a TV pilot titled iBANKER. A story of 5 fresh out of College twenty-somethings that aspire to become successful on Wall Street but their passion
for business rival their attraction to NYC's nightlife. Tales of love, heartbreak, loyalty, and deceit unravel and expose
who will be left standing and who will CRASH! Sounds good, right? Well, I'm excited to see it in it's entirety at
the screening tomorrow night @ The New Filmmakers Film Festival. You can check out the trailer below!

Conan O'Brien says Goodbye to NYC
I got a text message on Thursday
night that read: "Friday night is Conan's last show! Then he returns in June to take over The Tonight Show,
rejoice!", while I was happy to see Leno leave (sorry, I'm a Letterman fan) and Conan take over
I was saddend and disappointed that I never experienced Conan's show LIVE! But fret, I shall not, for I have laughed many
laughs, and cried many tears (due to laughter) w/ Conan on Late Night. If you were unlucky and never seen Conan check out
his final show below and remember to tune in to The Tonight Show this June! Meanwhile Jimmy Fallon will replace
Conan on Late Night starting March 2nd with The Roots
as the house band.

ask dee vazquez...
Okay! So, as many of you may already know aside from my hosting duties on Fuse, and co-hosting alongside
Kay Slay on HOT 97 and Sirius/XM Satellite radio I also write (The
Source, The Connex List, B.R.I.D.G.E.Z. {Ha, shout to Ariel and Charlie}, and most
currently Straight Stuntin' Magazine!). I have met and interviewed many people {well-established and
emerging}, I consider myself to be pretty thorough when it comes to doing research, and find myself more than capable to hold
a conversation on various subjects BUT there is one interview that was recently pitched to me that has me
feeling a lil nervous, not knowing what to ask, and I can't even figure out where to start my research, in fact, I'm
starting to second guess myself for even thinking I need to do research???? I mean... really... what kinda research do I have
to do when I'm interviewing ME, right? Well, obviously the answer is A LOT! Seriously,
I don't know where to start or what to ask myself and I don't have much time (gotta love deadlines) so I'm reaching
out to YOU, yes YOU! If you have a question about me (personal or career oriented) that
you would like me to answer please leave them HERE! I promise to be as honest and interesting as possible! ;)

Martis Dies
Esperanza Spalding
is a young Jazz musician who is known for creating a unique sound with her voice and bass to capture the perfect melody. Her
album self-titled "Esperanza" is also translated as Hope, and she is becoming
just that for the more than a century old form of music. While many have written Jazz off as their grandparents (or some cases
their great-grand's) choice of music Esperanza is introducing her fresh sound to the masses in three different languages
English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Catch her perform LIVE at a stage near you by
checking out the schedule of her upcoming shows on myspace. Enjoy! Disfruta! Aproveita! Like what you hear? Purchase the album @ amazon.com

Roe vs. Wade: 36 yrs. later...
As I was surfing the internet today I stumbled upon a fellow twitter's (goddesses rising) BLOG. It's very informative on topics relating to woman's issues and interests, and they posted a video (see below) directed by Monihan Monihan inspired by Jean Grae's song "My Story"
off of her latest album Jeanius. Which is fitting seeing that it's been 36 years since the Supreme Court
legalized abortion in the Roe vs. Wade case today.

I LOVE Katharine Hepburn!
More so for how she lived her life than her skills as an actress, although she is definitely one of the greatest actors of
all time. I admire what she represented especially the time in which she represented it. Katharine Hepburn was an independent
thinker, a leading lady that led an androgynous lifestyle, she broke social rules and etiquette, was educated, classy, humorous
and disciplined. I think she was a fascinating person and found this interview to be very interesting and enlightening, check
out her first television interview on the Dick Cavett show below. Part 2

Random Sunday Night Movie Outing w/ Danny
A couple of weeks ago I went to the Angelika Film Center w/ my brother Danny :) We decided to see Doubt, a film based on a play that tackles religion, morality, and authority.. DEEP! It starred two of my favorite actors Philip Seymour
Hoffman and Meryl Streep :) Peep trailer below!
Although it was a great film I left the theater a lil disappointed :( First, the line to get into the theater went up and
around the block :/ BUT, once inside we were lucky enough to find THREE seats! ;) Don't think I gotta stress the importance of having that extra seat as a space saver... elbow room, coat/bag holder, etc.. Then I realized the two seats w/ the accompanying space saver... was located in the front of the theater :/ Front row seats at a concert
:) Front row seats in a movie theater ;( (The two are completely different and don't carry the same benefits)
BUT, I decided to be a good sport and watch
the movie anyway :I As you can see I enjoyed
myself! :)
Danny did too, he just always
looks disappointed :/ So, I tried to put a
smile on his face and took this pic of us... he smiled :)

2009 Rock N Roll Hall of Fame
Congratulations are in order
to Metallica and Run DMC for being inductees at this year's Rock N Roll Hall
of Fame. I attended the press conference @ Fuse studios yesterday afternoon to hear the rock band speak about their latest news and was happy to see them in great spirits, and not
just for their recent honor but for the direction rock music is taking overall, here are some highlights taken from Fuse Blogger
Conrad Doucette's blog: On who they'd like to induct them: James: "It's an ongoing discussion." Reporter: So, no Ryan Seacrest
then? James: "I don't even know who that is." Who they would like to see inducted: James: "Motorhead." Lars:
"Deep Purple." Kirk: "Rush." Robert: "UFO."
On what they think keeps their music relevant: James: "Making
music that connects with people. And playing the songs live." Kirk: We still care, on a passionate
level." Lars: "When all else fails, turn to Rick Rubin." Current bands they admire: Kirk: "Lamb Of God." Lars:
"Trivium. Dillinger Escape Plan. Mastodon." On
whether they'd ever tour w/ Guns n' Roses again: Kirk: The question is, would Guns n' Roses
tour with US?" James: "We've learned to never say never." Lars: "All four of us love Chinese Democracy!" You can catch the ceremony LIVE on FUSE
TV April 4th!

I'm sick :/
I
caught the bug! I feel like doo-doo right now it's 4:20 IN THE MORNING, I can't sleep, and I have
to get up in 3 hrs! Sorry for not posting this month's Beau Garcon or this week's Martis
Dies feature (check for them both next week) I really wasn't going to post anything at all this week but I had
nothing better to do than lay here in fetal position staring into the darkness. I might drop a line tomorrow and post Throwback
THERSday if I don't die tonight! My body aches, my head feels like a furnace, and my belly is doing flips, I
can't eat or sleep and it even hurts to laugh. BUT, THE SHOW MUST GO ON! -Right? I hosted an event on
Monday (big shout to Delson and The Don Diva Rydaz), taped my show yesterday, and today I will be at a Press Conference for
FUSE then I'll be rockin' the mic from 8-12mid on SHADE 45 Tune In!

Yaaaay! I FINALLY found it!
I'm so excited I had to share this information! It's been 15 years since FOX Network premiered and canceled
House Of Buggin', an all Latino comedy sketch
show created by and starring John Leguizamo. Although it was
short lived I became a huge fan of the show and realized most of you are too! After almost 2 years of trying to find old footage
online I FINALLY found a bunch of skits on youtube! Stay in, order take-out, and check out pass episodes HERE... enjoy!
