A few weeks back when Astronomer Parke Kunkle caused a stir about the 13th sign and left me contemplating if I was now a Scorpio, Twitter friend and astrologer @sagittarianmind not only cleared me up on Ophiucus being old news and its existence changing nothing, he also reassured me that I was still a Sag as well as a bit of a Virgo and a hint of Scorpio.
As a belated Birthday gift he offered to read my astrological chart but before we got started he sent over a Mission Statement that explained his approach to Astrology and how it’s filled with “self-responsibility” and it should NOT be used to “justify non-productive and harmful behavior”. While I’ve never been one to depend on astrology to reveal my destiny or contented on accepting perennial flaws I am guilty of blaming my aloofness to my sagittarian nature as well as the act of continually putting my foot in my mouth.
Fortunately, my chart was read by someone of the same sign who was able to fully explain the positive traits associated with my sun sign as well as the flaws [a few I listed above]. I found out my moon sign was in Virgo and my ascendant was in Scorpio. What does all that mean? The moon tells how you love and want to be loved, basically revealing your nurturing nature and the ascendant is how you represent yourself to the world, kind of like the mask you wear in life. Here is an Informative Chart that breaks down each planet and what they represent along with all 12 houses.
