Maluca is an artist on Diplo’s genre bending label Mad Decent and is best known for mixing all her musical influences like merengue, salsa, hip-hop, dance, and house to create her own sound [electro-merengue]. The NYC born, self-proclaimed 1/2 Dominican + 1/2 Pain in the Ass takes some time to answer a few questions after her performance at SOB’s a few weekends back.
