Feminist. Human Rights Activist. Actress. and Style Icon. Bianca Jagger is a Renaissance woman with beauty and brains. Born in Nicaragua and studied in France (the Fashion Capital of the world) at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Bianca became poised in politics and public relations as her star began to rise. Known as the first wife to global superstar Mick Jagger and best friend of Pop culture Icon Andy Warhol, Bianca’s life and style has been coveted and replicated throughout the years. While many admire her style, her convictions and humanitarian efforts are worthy of praise as well. As a Goodwill Ambassador for the Council of Europe, Member of the Executive Director’s Leadership Council of Amnesty International USA, a Trustee of the Amazon Charitable Trust, and Founder and Chair of the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation she is dedicated to bringing awareness and change to issues around the world. For over 30 years she has fought against genocide, the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and on terror and fought for children and women’s rights, and environmental change. Atypical to both of the worlds she occupies as celebutante and politician, Bianca has managed to bring substance to Hollywood and fashion to foreign affairs.
In an interview alongside Boy George from the 80′s Bianca Jagger expresses how she uses her fame as an opportunity to spread her message.
